Melon refill pack IQOS in Nouméa: the guide shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Melon in Nouméa: 21 units tested over 4 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What melon costs in Nouméa
Melon prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.28 per 10 ml.
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
If you only read one line: the refill pack you buy decides how long melon tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a melon refill pack really costs in Nouméa
Melon in Nouméa reaches the shelf in refill pack formats, and the starter ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested melon in a refill pack
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a melon bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for refill pack in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where melon goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest refill pack available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a refill pack and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Why does melon taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the refill pack units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the melon blend itself harsh.
How long does melon in a refill pack last?
In Nouméa we measured 4 to 21 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On melon the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.28 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
