Melon pod kit IQOS in Nouméa: the price shortlist
Melon in Nouméa: 10 units tested over 4 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How we tested Melon pod kit here
Melon in a pod kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
If you only read one line: the pod kit you buy decides how long melon tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a melon pod kit really costs in Nouméa
If you are looking at melon in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pod kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested melon in a pod kit
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Batch code and production date, so a melon bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 10 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
Where melon goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why melon tastes flat after two days.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised XPF63 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF1.77 per 10 ml.
