Melon disposable vape IQOS in Nouméa: the online shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Melon in Nouméa: 13 units tested over 3 weeks, disposable vape formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Where buyers go wrong with melon in New Caledonia
We run melon the same way in Nouméa: same disposable vape, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
A melon disposable vape from the online options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.21 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: melon in Nouméa works if the disposable vape, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a melon disposable vape really costs in Nouméa
The honest read on melon: 13 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested melon in a disposable vape
- Pick the disposable vape that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a melon bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where melon goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF34 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.21 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a disposable vape and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing melon with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Why does melon taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the disposable vape units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the melon blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should melon start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a disposable vape.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On melon the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.21 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
