Melon cartomizer IQOS in Nouméa: the compare shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Melon in Nouméa: 18 units tested over 9 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the melon habit
Melon in Nouméa reaches the shelf in cartomizer formats, and the compared ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
We run melon the same way in Nouméa: same cartomizer, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 18 units, cartomizer, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a melon cartomizer really costs in Nouméa
If you are looking at melon in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the cartomizer you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested melon in a cartomizer
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a cartomizer arrives sealed but wrong.
Where melon goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why melon tastes flat after two days.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long melon in Nouméa survives.
- Treating the advertised XPF38 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.32 per 10 ml.
