Mango refill pack IQOS in Nouméa: the online shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Mango in Nouméa: 19 units tested over 4 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a refill pack for mango
Mango in a refill pack is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Mango sounds like one product. It is not: a refill pack running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
If you only read one line: the refill pack you buy decides how long mango tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a mango refill pack really costs in Nouméa
Mango in a refill pack is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested mango in a refill pack
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a refill pack arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for refill pack in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
Where mango goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why mango tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised XPF67 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.46 per 10 ml.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a refill pack cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.46 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF67 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is mango legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
Why does mango taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the refill pack units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the mango blend itself harsh.
