Mango pod kit IQOS in Nouméa: the budget shortlist
Mango in Nouméa: 17 units tested over 7 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Mango is allowed to say
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Mango sounds like one product. It is not: a pod kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: mango in Nouméa works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a mango pod kit really costs in Nouméa
Mango in Nouméa reaches the shelf in pod kit formats, and the budget ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested mango in a pod kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every mango bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a mango bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where mango goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing mango with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why mango tastes flat after two days.

Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the mango blend itself harsh.
