Lime zero-nicotine bottle IQOS in Nouméa: the deals shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Lime in Nouméa: 10 units tested over 9 weeks, zero-nicotine bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the lime habit
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Lime zero-nicotine bottle reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 10 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: lime in Nouméa works if the zero-nicotine bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a lime zero-nicotine bottle really costs in Nouméa
Lime prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.28 per 10 ml.
How we tested lime in a zero-nicotine bottle
- Pick the zero-nicotine bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where lime goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why lime tastes flat after two days.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long lime in Nouméa survives.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
How long does lime in a zero-nicotine bottle last?
In Nouméa we measured 9 to 10 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
How much does a zero-nicotine bottle cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF3.28 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF43 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does lime taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the zero-nicotine bottle units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the lime blend itself harsh.
