Lime sub-ohm kit IQOS in Nouméa: the budget shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Lime in Nouméa: 7 units tested over 4 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the lime habit
Lime sounds like one product. It is not: a sub-ohm kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
The short version: lime in Nouméa works if the sub-ohm kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a lime sub-ohm kit really costs in Nouméa
We run lime the same way in Nouméa: same sub-ohm kit, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested lime in a sub-ohm kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for sub-ohm kit in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the sub-ohm kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a sub-ohm kit arrives sealed but wrong.
Where lime goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF46 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF1.81 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why lime tastes flat after two days.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
