Lime squonk mod IQOS in Nouméa: the best shortlist
Lime in Nouméa: 9 units tested over 2 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How we tested Lime squonk mod here
The honest read on lime: 9 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Lime prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.31 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long lime tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a lime squonk mod really costs in Nouméa
Lime in Nouméa reaches the shelf in squonk mod formats, and the best ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested lime in a squonk mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a lime bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every lime bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Stock depth: 9 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where lime goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised XPF61 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.31 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
