Lime in Nouméa: 7 units tested over 6 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a refill pack for lime
If you are looking at lime in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the refill pack you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
A lime refill pack from the reviewed options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.28 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: lime in Nouméa works if the refill pack, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a lime refill pack really costs in Nouméa
Lime prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.28 per 10 ml.
How we tested lime in a refill pack
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a refill pack arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every lime bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Batch code and production date, so a lime bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where lime goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing lime with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest refill pack available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
