Lime box mod IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist
Lime in Nouméa: 14 units tested over 6 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a box mod for lime
The honest read on lime: 14 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
We run lime the same way in Nouméa: same box mod, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long lime tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a lime box mod really costs in Nouméa
Lime box mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 14 units and 6 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested lime in a box mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 14 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
Where lime goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised XPF30 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.36 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
