Licorice sub-ohm kit IQOS in Nouméa: the online shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Licorice in Nouméa: 10 units tested over 9 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Delivery, returns and what 6–12 business days really means
Licorice prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF1.64 per 10 ml.
Licorice in a sub-ohm kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the sub-ohm kit you buy decides how long licorice tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a licorice sub-ohm kit really costs in Nouméa
If you are looking at licorice in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the sub-ohm kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested licorice in a sub-ohm kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a sub-ohm kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 10 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where licorice goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a sub-ohm kit that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why licorice tastes flat after two days.
- Buying the cheapest sub-ohm kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
