Licorice starter kit IQOS in Nouméa: the best shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Licorice in Nouméa: 7 units tested over 3 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Where buyers go wrong with licorice in New Caledonia
Licorice in Nouméa reaches the shelf in starter kit formats, and the best ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Licorice sounds like one product. It is not: a starter kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long licorice tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a licorice starter kit really costs in Nouméa
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested licorice in a starter kit
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every licorice bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where licorice goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest starter kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Chasing a discount on a starter kit that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Treating the advertised XPF33 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.55 per 10 ml.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should licorice start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a starter kit.
How much does a starter kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF3.55 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF33 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On licorice the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF3.55 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
