Licorice refill pack IQOS in Nouméa: the flat shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Licorice in Nouméa: 24 units tested over 3 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good refill pack from a repack
Licorice sounds like one product. It is not: a refill pack running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Licorice in Nouméa reaches the shelf in refill pack formats, and the flat-rate ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the refill pack you buy decides how long licorice tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a licorice refill pack really costs in Nouméa
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested licorice in a refill pack
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Coil type inside the refill pack, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 24 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a licorice bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where licorice goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why licorice tastes flat after two days.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long licorice in Nouméa survives.
- Buying the cheapest refill pack available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Why does licorice taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the refill pack units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the licorice blend itself harsh.
Can I order IQOS online in New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 6–12 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On licorice the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF3.14 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
