Licorice mesh tank IQOS in Nouméa: the deals shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Licorice in Nouméa: 14 units tested over 5 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Where buyers go wrong with licorice in New Caledonia
Licorice in a mesh tank is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Licorice prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.56 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the mesh tank you buy decides how long licorice tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a licorice mesh tank really costs in Nouméa
Licorice in Nouméa reaches the shelf in mesh tank formats, and the discounted ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested licorice in a mesh tank
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every licorice bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where licorice goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a mesh tank and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing licorice with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised XPF48 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.56 per 10 ml.
