Licorice mesh tank IQOS in Nouméa: the best shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Licorice in Nouméa: 16 units tested over 2 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How we tested Licorice mesh tank here
Licorice mesh tank reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 16 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Licorice in Nouméa reaches the shelf in mesh tank formats, and the best ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the mesh tank you buy decides how long licorice tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a licorice mesh tank really costs in Nouméa
Licorice in a mesh tank is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested licorice in a mesh tank
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Batch code and production date, so a licorice bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Spare parts availability for mesh tank in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where licorice goes wrong
- Mixing licorice with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised XPF50 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.61 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a mesh tank that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.

Frequently asked questions
Can I order IQOS online in New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 6–12 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Why does licorice taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the licorice blend itself harsh.
How long does licorice in a mesh tank last?
In Nouméa we measured 2 to 16 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
