Where buyers go wrong with lemon in New Caledonia
Lemon in a zero-nicotine bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
We run lemon the same way in Nouméa: same zero-nicotine bottle, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the zero-nicotine bottle you buy decides how long lemon tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a lemon zero-nicotine bottle really costs in Nouméa
A lemon zero-nicotine bottle from the budget options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.08 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested lemon in a zero-nicotine bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the zero-nicotine bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a zero-nicotine bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the zero-nicotine bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where lemon goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Mixing lemon with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
