Lemon box mod IQOS in Nouméa: the guide shortlist
Lemon in Nouméa: 18 units tested over 3 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How we tested Lemon box mod here
A lemon box mod from the starter options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.24 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Lemon prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.24 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long lemon tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a lemon box mod really costs in Nouméa
We run lemon the same way in Nouméa: same box mod, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested lemon in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Stock depth: 18 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where lemon goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why lemon tastes flat after two days.

Frequently asked questions
Why does lemon taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the lemon blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should lemon start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a box mod.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On lemon the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.24 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
