Lemon box mod IQOS in Nouméa: the budget shortlist
Lemon in Nouméa: 9 units tested over 7 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
We run lemon the same way in Nouméa: same box mod, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Lemon prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF1.73 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long lemon tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a lemon box mod really costs in Nouméa
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested lemon in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where lemon goes wrong
- Mixing lemon with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On lemon the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF1.73 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
Can I order IQOS online in New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 6–12 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
How long does lemon in a box mod last?
In Nouméa we measured 7 to 9 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
