The short version: lemon in Nouméa works if the 100 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a lemon 100 ml bottle really costs in Nouméa
Lemon sounds like one product. It is not: a 100 ml bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested lemon in a 100 ml bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a lemon bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every lemon bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Stock depth: 17 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 100 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
Where lemon goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a 100 ml bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Buying the cheapest 100 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised XPF28 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.31 per 10 ml.

Frequently asked questions
Why does lemon taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 100 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the lemon blend itself harsh.
Is lemon legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
How long does lemon in a 100 ml bottle last?
In Nouméa we measured 4 to 17 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
