Iced starter kit IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Iced in Nouméa: 14 units tested over 5 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Iced is allowed to say
Iced in a starter kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Iced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.85 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long iced tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a iced starter kit really costs in Nouméa

How we tested iced in a starter kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where iced goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a starter kit that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long iced in Nouméa survives.
- Treating the advertised XPF65 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.85 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
How long does iced in a starter kit last?
In Nouméa we measured 5 to 14 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On iced the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.85 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
Why does iced taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the iced blend itself harsh.
