Iced starter kit IQOS in Nouméa: the best shortlist
Iced in Nouméa: 20 units tested over 9 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the iced habit
Iced starter kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 20 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Iced in Nouméa reaches the shelf in starter kit formats, and the best ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long iced tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a iced starter kit really costs in Nouméa
Iced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.85 per 10 ml.
How we tested iced in a starter kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every iced bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
Where iced goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest starter kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Chasing a discount on a starter kit that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Mixing iced with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
