Iced refill pack IQOS in Nouméa: the best shortlist
Iced in Nouméa: 15 units tested over 6 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good refill pack from a repack
Iced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.25 per 10 ml.
We run iced the same way in Nouméa: same refill pack, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 15 units, refill pack, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a iced refill pack really costs in Nouméa
The honest read on iced: 15 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested iced in a refill pack
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Stock depth: 15 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the refill pack, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where iced goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a refill pack and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised XPF43 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.25 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a refill pack that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.

Frequently asked questions
How long does iced in a refill pack last?
In Nouméa we measured 6 to 15 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
What nicotine strength should iced start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a refill pack.
Why does iced taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the refill pack units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the iced blend itself harsh.
