Iced prefilled pod IQOS in Nouméa: the budget shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Iced in Nouméa: 9 units tested over 7 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Iced is allowed to say
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Iced in Nouméa reaches the shelf in prefilled pod formats, and the budget ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the prefilled pod you buy decides how long iced tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a iced prefilled pod really costs in Nouméa
The honest read on iced: 9 units through the same routine over 7 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested iced in a prefilled pod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 9 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the prefilled pod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where iced goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF29 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.26 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a prefilled pod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long iced in Nouméa survives.
