Iced pod kit IQOS in Nouméa: the budget shortlist
Iced in Nouméa: 8 units tested over 4 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the iced habit
Iced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.88 per 10 ml.
If you are looking at iced in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pod kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Below is the run we did for this search: 8 units, pod kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a iced pod kit really costs in Nouméa
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested iced in a pod kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for pod kit in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
Where iced goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF39 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.88 per 10 ml.
- Mixing iced with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Chasing a discount on a pod kit that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.

Frequently asked questions
Is iced legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
Why does iced taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the iced blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should iced start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pod kit.
