Choosing a zero-nicotine bottle for honey
If you are looking at honey in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the zero-nicotine bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Honey prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF1.97 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the zero-nicotine bottle you buy decides how long honey tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

How we tested honey in a zero-nicotine bottle
- Pick the zero-nicotine bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
Where honey goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Buying the cheapest zero-nicotine bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why honey tastes flat after two days.
