Herbal starter kit IQOS in Nouméa: the order shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Herbal in Nouméa: 9 units tested over 8 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What herbal costs in Nouméa
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
The honest read on herbal: 9 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: herbal in Nouméa works if the starter kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a herbal starter kit really costs in Nouméa
A herbal starter kit from the pre-order options in New Caledonia costs about XPF1.7 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested herbal in a starter kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every herbal bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Spare parts availability for starter kit in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a herbal bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where herbal goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a starter kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised XPF41 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF1.7 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.

Frequently asked questions
How long does herbal in a starter kit last?
In Nouméa we measured 8 to 9 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does herbal taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the herbal blend itself harsh.
Is herbal legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
