Herbal starter kit IQOS in Nouméa: the best shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Herbal in Nouméa: 13 units tested over 3 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Delivery, returns and what 6–12 business days really means
We run herbal the same way in Nouméa: same starter kit, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
A herbal starter kit from the best options in New Caledonia costs about XPF1.68 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long herbal tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a herbal starter kit really costs in Nouméa
Herbal prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF1.68 per 10 ml.
How we tested herbal in a starter kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a herbal bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where herbal goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised XPF46 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF1.68 per 10 ml.
- Mixing herbal with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
