Herbal pen device IQOS in Nouméa: the budget shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Herbal in Nouméa: 7 units tested over 2 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a pen device for herbal
If you are looking at herbal in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pen device you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
We run herbal the same way in Nouméa: same pen device, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 7 units, pen device, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a herbal pen device really costs in Nouméa
Herbal prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.67 per 10 ml.
How we tested herbal in a pen device
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Stock depth: 7 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
Where herbal goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF49 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.67 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why herbal tastes flat after two days.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long herbal in Nouméa survives.
