Herbal box mod IQOS in Nouméa: the deals shortlist
Herbal in Nouméa: 20 units tested over 3 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Where buyers go wrong with herbal in New Caledonia
A herbal box mod from the discounted options in New Caledonia costs about XPF1.72 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Herbal box mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 20 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: herbal in Nouméa works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a herbal box mod really costs in Nouméa
Herbal in a box mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested herbal in a box mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every herbal bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
Where herbal goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Mixing herbal with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised XPF46 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF1.72 per 10 ml.

Frequently asked questions
How long does herbal in a box mod last?
In Nouméa we measured 3 to 20 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
How much does a box mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF1.72 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF46 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does herbal taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the herbal blend itself harsh.
