Herbal box mod IQOS in Nouméa: the compare shortlist
Herbal in Nouméa: 24 units tested over 7 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Where buyers go wrong with herbal in New Caledonia
Herbal prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.1 per 10 ml.
If you are looking at herbal in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the box mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: herbal in Nouméa works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a herbal box mod really costs in Nouméa
The honest read on herbal: 24 units through the same routine over 7 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested herbal in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a herbal bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every herbal bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
Where herbal goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF59 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.1 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why herbal tastes flat after two days.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.

Frequently asked questions
Is herbal legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
How long does herbal in a box mod last?
In Nouméa we measured 7 to 24 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
What nicotine strength should herbal start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a box mod.
