Where buyers go wrong with herbal in New Caledonia
If you are looking at herbal in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the 30 ml shortfill you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Herbal 30 ml shortfill reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 17 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Below is the run we did for this search: 17 units, 30 ml shortfill, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a herbal 30 ml shortfill really costs in Nouméa
Herbal prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.75 per 10 ml.
How we tested herbal in a 30 ml shortfill
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 30 ml shortfill arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a herbal bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for 30 ml shortfill in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where herbal goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a 30 ml shortfill and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised XPF59 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.75 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a 30 ml shortfill that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
The rules that apply here

New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
Why does herbal taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 30 ml shortfill units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the herbal blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should herbal start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 30 ml shortfill.
How long does herbal in a 30 ml shortfill last?
In Nouméa we measured 2 to 17 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
