Guava vape pen IQOS in Nouméa: the flat shortlist
Guava in Nouméa: 6 units tested over 2 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the guava habit
Guava prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.22 per 10 ml.
We run guava the same way in Nouméa: same vape pen, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the vape pen you buy decides how long guava tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a guava vape pen really costs in Nouméa
The honest read on guava: 6 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested guava in a vape pen
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Spare parts availability for vape pen in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every guava bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Batch code and production date, so a guava bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a vape pen arrives sealed but wrong.
Where guava goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Chasing a discount on a vape pen that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a vape pen and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
Packaging for guava in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
