Guava RDA IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist
Guava in Nouméa: 20 units tested over 4 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How we tested Guava RDA here
Guava RDA reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 20 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
The short version: guava in Nouméa works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a guava RDA really costs in Nouméa
If you are looking at guava in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the RDA you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested guava in a RDA
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a guava bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where guava goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised XPF54 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.43 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why guava tastes flat after two days.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a RDA cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF3.43 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF54 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does guava taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the guava blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On guava the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF3.43 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
