Guava RDA IQOS in Nouméa: the flat shortlist
Guava in Nouméa: 19 units tested over 5 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a RDA for guava
A guava RDA from the flat-rate options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.92 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Guava prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.92 per 10 ml.
Below is the run we did for this search: 19 units, RDA, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a guava RDA really costs in Nouméa
If you are looking at guava in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the RDA you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested guava in a RDA
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 19 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where guava goes wrong
- Mixing guava with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest RDA available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
