Guava RDA IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist
Guava in Nouméa: 8 units tested over 5 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a RDA for guava
Guava prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.42 per 10 ml.
Guava sounds like one product. It is not: a RDA running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: guava in Nouméa works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a guava RDA really costs in Nouméa
Guava RDA reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 8 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested guava in a RDA
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Stock depth: 8 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where guava goes wrong
- Mixing guava with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long guava in Nouméa survives.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
