Guava mesh tank IQOS in Nouméa: the online shortlist
Guava in Nouméa: 20 units tested over 5 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the guava habit
Guava mesh tank reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 20 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Guava sounds like one product. It is not: a mesh tank running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Below is the run we did for this search: 20 units, mesh tank, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a guava mesh tank really costs in Nouméa
Guava in a mesh tank is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested guava in a mesh tank
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a guava bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every guava bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Spare parts availability for mesh tank in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where guava goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest mesh tank available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Chasing a discount on a mesh tank that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
Is guava legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
What nicotine strength should guava start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a mesh tank.
Why does guava taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the guava blend itself harsh.
