Guava box mod IQOS in Nouméa: the budget shortlist
Guava in Nouméa: 11 units tested over 4 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Delivery, returns and what 6–12 business days really means
Guava prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.99 per 10 ml.
If you are looking at guava in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the box mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long guava tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a guava box mod really costs in Nouméa
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested guava in a box mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a guava bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every guava bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Stock depth: 11 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where guava goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long guava in Nouméa survives.

Frequently asked questions
Is guava legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
What nicotine strength should guava start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a box mod.
Why does guava taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the guava blend itself harsh.
