How to tell a good sub-ohm kit from a repack
We run graphite the same way in Nouméa: same sub-ohm kit, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
We run graphite the same way in Nouméa: same sub-ohm kit, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the sub-ohm kit you buy decides how long graphite tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a graphite sub-ohm kit really costs in Nouméa
If you are looking at graphite in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the sub-ohm kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested graphite in a sub-ohm kit
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 18 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a graphite bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every graphite bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
Where graphite goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long graphite in Nouméa survives.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why graphite tastes flat after two days.
- Buying the cheapest sub-ohm kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for graphite in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Is graphite legal to sell in New Caledonia?

Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the sub-ohm kit units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the graphite blend itself harsh.
How much does a sub-ohm kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.66 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF40 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
