Graphite box mod IQOS in Nouméa: the price shortlist
Graphite in Nouméa: 12 units tested over 3 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a box mod for graphite
We run graphite the same way in Nouméa: same box mod, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Graphite box mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 12 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long graphite tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a graphite box mod really costs in Nouméa
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested graphite in a box mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Batch code and production date, so a graphite bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where graphite goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF32 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF1.82 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why graphite tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing graphite with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
