Graphite box mod IQOS in Nouméa: the guide shortlist
Graphite in Nouméa: 14 units tested over 6 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Ordering IQOS to Nouméa: the practical version
Graphite sounds like one product. It is not: a box mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
We run graphite the same way in Nouméa: same box mod, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long graphite tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a graphite box mod really costs in Nouméa
Graphite in a box mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested graphite in a box mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every graphite bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Batch code and production date, so a graphite bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where graphite goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for graphite in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should graphite start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a box mod.
How much does a box mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.14 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF62 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does graphite taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the graphite blend itself harsh.
