Grapey vape pen IQOS in Nouméa: the guide shortlist
Grapey in Nouméa: 13 units tested over 5 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Where buyers go wrong with grapey in New Caledonia
We run grapey the same way in Nouméa: same vape pen, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The honest read on grapey: 13 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the vape pen you buy decides how long grapey tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a grapey vape pen really costs in Nouméa
Grapey prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.98 per 10 ml.
How we tested grapey in a vape pen
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a vape pen arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for vape pen in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where grapey goes wrong
- Mixing grapey with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest vape pen available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Chasing a discount on a vape pen that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.

What nicotine strength should grapey start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a vape pen.
Why does grapey taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the vape pen units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the grapey blend itself harsh.
