Grapey squonk mod IQOS in Nouméa: the guide shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Grapey in Nouméa: 14 units tested over 4 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Grapey is allowed to say
The honest read on grapey: 14 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
A grapey squonk mod from the starter options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.94 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: grapey in Nouméa works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a grapey squonk mod really costs in Nouméa
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested grapey in a squonk mod
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every grapey bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
Where grapey goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF35 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.94 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why grapey tastes flat after two days.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long grapey in Nouméa survives.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should grapey start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a squonk mod.
How much does a squonk mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.94 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF35 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does grapey in a squonk mod last?
In Nouméa we measured 4 to 14 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
