Grapey prefilled pod IQOS in Nouméa: the best shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Grapey in Nouméa: 23 units tested over 5 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good prefilled pod from a repack
Grapey prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.79 per 10 ml.
Grapey in Nouméa reaches the shelf in prefilled pod formats, and the best ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the prefilled pod you buy decides how long grapey tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a grapey prefilled pod really costs in Nouméa
Grapey in a prefilled pod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested grapey in a prefilled pod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a prefilled pod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every grapey bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a grapey bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where grapey goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest prefilled pod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised XPF52 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.79 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
Why does grapey taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the prefilled pod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the grapey blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should grapey start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a prefilled pod.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On grapey the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.79 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
