Ordering IQOS to Nouméa: the practical version
We run grapey the same way in Nouméa: same pen device, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you are looking at grapey in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pen device you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Below is the run we did for this search: 8 units, pen device, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a grapey pen device really costs in Nouméa
A grapey pen device from the best options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.28 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested grapey in a pen device
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a grapey bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every grapey bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where grapey goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long grapey in Nouméa survives.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a pen device cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.28 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF63 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does grapey taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the grapey blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On grapey the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.28 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
