Frozen RDA IQOS in Nouméa: the price shortlist
Frozen in Nouméa: 13 units tested over 7 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a RDA for frozen
Frozen prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.93 per 10 ml.
We run frozen the same way in Nouméa: same RDA, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the RDA you buy decides how long frozen tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a frozen RDA really costs in Nouméa
Frozen in Nouméa reaches the shelf in RDA formats, and the value ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested frozen in a RDA
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a frozen bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where frozen goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF54 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.93 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why frozen tastes flat after two days.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long frozen in Nouméa survives.
