Frozen cartomizer IQOS in Nouméa: the guide shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Frozen in Nouméa: 12 units tested over 3 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Delivery, returns and what 6–12 business days really means
A frozen cartomizer from the starter options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.24 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Frozen cartomizer reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 12 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Below is the run we did for this search: 12 units, cartomizer, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a frozen cartomizer really costs in Nouméa
Frozen sounds like one product. It is not: a cartomizer running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested frozen in a cartomizer
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every frozen bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
Where frozen goes wrong
- Mixing frozen with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why frozen tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a cartomizer that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.

Frequently asked questions
Is frozen legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
What nicotine strength should frozen start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a cartomizer.
How long does frozen in a cartomizer last?
In Nouméa we measured 3 to 12 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
