Frozen cartomizer IQOS in Nouméa: the best shortlist
Frozen in Nouméa: 23 units tested over 6 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Delivery, returns and what 6–12 business days really means
We run frozen the same way in Nouméa: same cartomizer, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
A frozen cartomizer from the best options in New Caledonia costs about XPF1.73 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 23 units, cartomizer, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a frozen cartomizer really costs in Nouméa
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested frozen in a cartomizer
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Spare parts availability for cartomizer in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every frozen bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Stock depth: 23 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where frozen goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF56 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF1.73 per 10 ml.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Chasing a discount on a cartomizer that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.

Frequently asked questions
How long does frozen in a cartomizer last?
In Nouméa we measured 6 to 23 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is frozen legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
Why does frozen taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the cartomizer units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the frozen blend itself harsh.
