Frozen box mod IQOS in Nouméa: the guide shortlist
Frozen in Nouméa: 6 units tested over 4 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Frozen in a box mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
We run frozen the same way in Nouméa: same box mod, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: frozen in Nouméa works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a frozen box mod really costs in Nouméa
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested frozen in a box mod
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every frozen bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a frozen bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where frozen goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised XPF43 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.38 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
How long does frozen in a box mod last?
In Nouméa we measured 4 to 6 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Do you ship tracked orders to New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked to 6–12 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On frozen the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.38 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
