Fig RDA IQOS in Nouméa: the deals shortlist
Fig in Nouméa: 22 units tested over 2 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Where buyers go wrong with fig in New Caledonia
Fig prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.59 per 10 ml.
Fig in Nouméa reaches the shelf in RDA formats, and the discounted ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The short version: fig in Nouméa works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a fig RDA really costs in Nouméa
We run fig the same way in Nouméa: same RDA, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested fig in a RDA
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a fig bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where fig goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long fig in Nouméa survives.
- Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why fig tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
